We are looking for an experienced External Auditor to join our Financial Assurance team in Christchurch at Senior Manager level.
There’s always a lot happening in the region of Canterbury. From PwC’s brand-new building in Christchurch the region’s most bustling and populous city we’re in a fine location to keep things growing in the Garden City.
Managing up to 1-3 direct reports on job allocations.
Developing job budgets and managing job economics (actual to budget) throughout the engagement.
Overseeing a range of standard and complex audits, assisting with business development of the wider practice through effective relationship building.
Supporting the management of key client accounts and delivering service in line with our trusted business partner model.
Managing, supporting and training junior staff in all audit-related matters. You’ll be seen as a subject matter expert.
Enhancing the quality of the wider Financial Assurance team through contribution to training and development initiatives.
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Previous external audit experience in a professional services environment is essential, as is an appropriate CA accreditation.
You’ll also have up-to-date knowledge of market trends and developments.
Experience developing and managing budgets on external audits.
Proven experience delivering strong client focus and building relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
The ability to develop staff and deliver exceptional on-the-job coaching
