We are looking for a new Service Desk Operator to join the team here at the Customer Service Centre based in Ellerslie, where you will be supporting our growing list of national stores that include Kiwi's most loved brands of KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Carl's Jr.
You will be doing a variety of tasks including :
Monitoring infrastructure and network stability and web systems
Provide first level support for the systems operating in the business
Escalation of service requests
The configuration, shipping and maintenance of replacement hardware
Complete daily systems checklist
Business / Technical Skills :
Exposure to software systems (Micros, PAR, email, web browsers) and the support of these systems.
Exposure to hardware systems (Micros, PAR, PCs, Printers, EFTPOS, POS, Digital menus) and the support of these systems.
Microsoft, networking and / or retail systems certification is advantageous
Experienced in server / workstation / network hardware implementation and support
Well-developed adaptive problem-solving skills
Exposure to VPN networks including hardware and the support of these systems.
Ability to understand and operate help desk software
Ability to understand support issues, problem solve and analyze issues, distil and focus on key issues
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
