    By researching and analysing property market trends and opportunities, our team delivers valuable insights to our customers to make more informed real estate decisions.

    The position focuses on data management, analysis and reporting, working with the Head of Research and Associate Directors / sector leads in the implementation of research strategies.

    Your new role will see you :

  • Collect, review, evaluate, & analyse of data, using internal databases, external data and macro-economic, financial and demographic information, ensuring insight and meaning is captured.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of data management processes and data-based outputs / data visualisation products.
  • Prepare regular research reports and presentations, and other market analysis, including one-off consultancy assignments and more tailored research pieces to drive thought leadership.
  • Working with the company’s pooled data resources to ensure research department data needs are met.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with Head of Research and Associate Directors / sector leads to generate ideas for, and produce, research.
  • Alongside Head of Research and Associate Directors / sector leads collaborate with business line leaders & senior managers to best meet business & client needs.
  • About you :

  • A degree qualification in Property, Economics, or disciplines such as Urban Geography, Finance or Data Science.
  • Demonstrated experience in an economic, investment, policy or property research role.
  • Knowledge of and application of data science techniques to join a cross-functional team of experts.
  • Ability to source data, analyze trends and create insight
  • Excellent communication skills and track record of preparing high quality written outputs.
  • Understanding of the characteristics of the New Zealand economy and how these influence commercial and residential property markets.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills and enjoy a high degree of integration and collaboration with stakeholders within our business
