Our Transactional Service Team are in an exciting faze of streamlining processes and procedures, to ensure they keep the customers at the heart of everything they do!
Reporting to the Head of Transactional Service, our Commercial Customers Lead plays a pivotal leadership and mentoring role.
The core objective will be to develop and lead the Commercial customer team, being the key relationship for the Commercial business unit for all matters relating to setting up and managing Commercial accounts, including new debtor accounts credit review and credit limit approvals, bespoke commercial debtor arrangements, reconciliations of commercial accounts and managing credit collection.
To ensure processes are refined to enable scaling up of Commercial customers and to ensure the balance of risk is managed with commercial customer credit.
Further to that you will :
Clear and agreed KPIs are set and monitored each month to ensure the team are delivering its service level. Actions are taken where KPIs are not being met
Working with Commercial Customers on any bespoke arrangements required for debtors accounts and any new processes required for these.
Escalation point for credit limit requests and non standard terms of trade.
Ensuring all reconciliations are up to date and all issues resolved within KPI timelines.
Ensuring credit collection is maintained and any risk areas are reported to management (Key relationship management with Debtworks for Commercial Customers).
Ensure actions are taken with regard to doubtful debts to maximise recovery, and bad debts are written off in accordance with the DFA
Ensuring all audit requests are actioned in a timely manner with the information provided to the level required
Work closely with the Commercial and Finance teams to ensure customer actions and queries are resolved / completed on a timely basis.
Working closely with the retail operations teams to ensure queries are followed up and resolved in a timely manner and processes are sought to add efficiency and scalability.
Ensure team development plan is in place, that roles are clearly defined with clear objectives and deliverables outlined.

Your natural ability to engage and passion for coaching and mentoring chapter members, will aid you in the success of this role.
