A much sought after opportunity has arisen to join the DHL Supply Chain New Zealand team as National HR Manager.DHL Supply Chain NZ has a workforce of over 600 employees in warehousing, transport and business support services.

We have warehouses and offices based in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The ethos of the business is represented in our core values of respect and results, and our leadership framework of head, heart and guts.

ResponsibilitiesThe National HR Manager is an exciting and dynamic role responsible for the delivery of best in class HR services to the business through a team of talented and dedicated business partners.

A strong focus of the role is to ensure the services provided enable the business to perform at its best. Equally important will be continuing to develop and grow you and your team’s capability.

RequirementsIt goes without saying you must have a strong background in industrial and employee relations including working with unions and have exceptional stakeholder management skills.

You will also play a key role in developing and deploying strategic and operational initiatives for talent, leadership development and engagement.

You must be confident and adaptable and be able to demonstrate our core values and leadership attributes even in difficult or challenging situations.

You must also have the ability to shine in a corporate environment whilst able to relate to front line staff.Ideally you will have a minimum of ten years experience as a generalist HR practitioner and experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals.

A tertiary qualification in a related discipline would be highly advantageous as would previous experience working in the supply chain logistics industry.
