Mitre 10 Browns Bay - Part-time customer service positions available

Mitre10 Browns Bay is looking for 3 sales assistant roles, each for 3-4 days per week, all including a weekend day, with specific roster requirements depending on department needs.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

1. Trade Sales Advisor - this role requires someone who has some knowledge of timber, a full driver's license and is physically fit for repeated heavy lifting.

Total hours 34.5 per week across these 4 days : Sunday-Wednesday

2. Customer Advisor - this is a sales driven role that would suit someone with experience in sales and / or some knowledge of hardware.

The role requires a full class 1 driver's license- 1 part-time role (25 hours per week Monday, Tuesday and Saturday)

3. Garden Centre Sales Person - this role requires 24 hours per week to be worked on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays .

Garden experience is favored. Being able to operate a till will also be an advantage

The main purpose of all the roles is to ensure that our trusted trade or retail customersreceive all the attention that they deserve when they complete a sale with us.

You would be the key person in making their experience seamless and deliver thefriendliness and efficiency that they accustomed to.

All these roles are customer facing, and require a can do attitude with the ability to solve problems, be autonomous and take initiative.

Theideal candidate for the role will have all of the following attributes and skills :

  • High attention to detail together with a solutionorientated mind
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • A passion for customer service excellence
  • PreviousRetail experience, will be advantageous (notessential)
  • The ability to work to the indicated roster
