Cardiac Physiology Technician Trainee

About the Role
This is an opportunity to join our team in the Cardiac Physiology Lab, 4th Floor of Dunedin Hospital and train on the job to become a Cardiac Physiology Technician.
The role involves doing ECG’s, fitting cardiac monitors, assisting with other duties, and working collaboratively with the other clinical team members including the Cardiologists and Cardiac Physiologists within the department to ensure patients experience efficient and effective care.
Work is Monday to Wednesday with hours within those days flexible to meet the needs of the department and the successful applicant.
About You
Ideally you will be a customer-focused person, with some relevant previous study already completed. Experience in the health system is desirable but not essential.
You will bring to this role, a positive can- do attitude, a willingness and ability to learn along with your strong communication skills and attention to detail.
