Catalyst Cloud is a team based across Aotearoa and we are looking for a Wellington-based Business Development Manager to join us across the strategically important, All of Government sector.

As a Business Development Manager in our Sales Team you will be responsible for :

Using to your knowledge and extensive network within the Wellington public sector to identify, engage, influence and bring customers to Catalyst Cloud

Boosting Catalyst Cloud awareness by actively engaging across the government sector to educate them about the values and advantages of using our cloud

Being the face’ of Catalyst Cloud in your territory, using your knowledge, communication and customer relationship skills to become a trusted advisor with potential customers and partners

Bringing a customer-centric perspective to our discussions and directions, championing customer service, for both our existing and new customers, by amplifying their voice within Catalyst Cloud

Engagement and coverage plans for your territory and customers, planning and engaging other Catalyst Cloud team members into your territory to progress opportunities

Enhance and grow Catalyst Cloud’s ecosystem by identifying potentially new partners organisations and work with all partners to position Catalyst Cloud offerings

Work with our marketing team to design and implement plans for brand awareness and opportunity identification

Identify potential additional product and focus areas for new or enhanced Catalyst Cloud offerings and to enhance customer experience

Demonstrating consistent achievement against sales and other metrics.

  • You will also advance your learning and development by;
  • Participating in the relevant training, whether this is you learning from others or being the teacher

    Guiding fellow team members with you technical and customer knowledge

    You will be a self starter, with a government network and good IT credentials and experience. You can communicate well and are willing to roll your sleeves up when it comes to creating plans, proposals, presentations and whatever is required to progress opportunities, and to guide others on your behalf.

    You will be ably assisted and surrounded by a passionate team of open source technologists who believe in the importance of data sovereignty and investing in infrastructure for the future of New Zealand.
