Provide high quality food for the members of the staff.Order the appropriate amount of food products.Complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner or by the due date.
Maintain and control food cost percentages according to the restaurant budget of 28%.Ensure all stock is rotated regularly.
Maintain an open communications line to the front of house staff, bar manager and owner.Train all team members to a high standard to ensure all brigade can perform all functions in the kitchen.
Perform any other duties as directed by the owner or the owner's representative. Integrity to ensure the food quality, portion size and presentation of all dishes is consistent.
Good communication skills with your team and front of house managers.A positive attitude, willingness to train your team, be creative and have amazing work ethics.
Understandingg of various cooking methods,ingredients, equipments and procedures.Application for this position should have NZ residency and valid NZ work visa.
