Te āhuatunga a te tūranga / About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position based at the Auckland District CourtThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and adaptable person who has the necessary specialist knowledge, skills and experience to make a major contribution to assisting victims of crime through the court process.

You'll make an enormous difference to the victims through what you do. You will keep victims updated on the progress of their case and help them participate effectively in the Criminal Justice System.

The role requires you to demonstrate :

  • Resilience when it comes to working with people
  • A calm nature and an ability to relate to people
  • Ability to enjoy the challenges of working with stakeholders and assisting people who have been affected by crime He pūkenga tou / Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will :
  • Be a confident communicator with sound judgment
  • Have strong abilities in creating and maintaining effective relationships
  • Possess cultural awareness and competencies to enable you to work with all victims and their whanau who are from diverse backgrounds
