We are seeking 2 experienced Senior Technical Business Analysts to join out 3DHB ICT team to support key projects and initiatives and enable key delivery teams, projects and initiatives to improve and innovate the DHB s services.

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst you will meet with stakeholder s right across the DHB, from patients, clinical and other staff to external vendors.

You ll have a passion for understanding the business requirements and drivers then translating these into configuration requirements for selected digital solutions.

Additionally, you will facilitate workshops exploring changes and configuration requirements.

Some of your duties will include :

  • Analysing business requirements and design related processes
  • Providing input to potential ICT solutions compliant with the ICT strategy
  • Analysing required information and documents
  • Determining requirements for the configuration, deployment and release of particular digital solutions selected by the business and ICT

    You ll have great people skills, meaning you build successful relationships across all levels of an organisation. You know the value of collaboration, which is on display with your confident, well practiced facilitation.

    You ll bring the ability to multitask, successfully keeping a number of balls in the air while making sure the business is always updated.

    You re also flexible and enjoy working in an Agile / DevOps environment.

    Skills and experience :

  • Three years or more experience in a Senior Business Analyst role (or associated roles), working within highly complex IT environments
  • Experience and involvement with large and complex projects and / or working across multiple projects
  • Proven understanding of and experience with Project Management and Business Analysis methodologies, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and practices highly desirable
  • Experience writing business cases, in particular familiarity with the Better Business Case style
  • Experience with operating within an Agile framework (such as Scrum) highly desirable.
  • Experience in the health sector is desirable
