As our Marketing Coordinator, you will work with the Marketing and Communications team to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase hotel brand awareness.

You will also get involved in :

  • Planning and executing social media strategies, including content creation, for Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo.
  • Coordinating online marketing content,ecommerce, online distribution and social media channels.
  • Coordinating artwork briefs, delivery and distribution of all Auckland and Lake Taupo based collateral and media press release items through the approved Hilton design process.
  • Assisting the Marketing and Communications team with the assessment of journalist enquiries, distribution of media releases to travel and trade contacts, and record maintenance of all advertisement and editorial coverage.
  • Performing site inspections and / or hosting travel media to the hotel properties.
  • Coordinating day-to-day relationships with creative agencies, printing companies and general suppliers to ensure collateral items are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communicating all marketing activities to the hotels
  • Providing administrative and ad hoc support to the Marketing and Communications team
  • Working closely across all hotel departments, seeking proactive opportunities and planned promotions to address specific business challenges

  • Proactive, positive and customer-focused individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills including Publisher, Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Skills within Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and InDesign would be advantageous
  • Understanding of social media and experience in communicating business messages across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube
  • Well organised and methodical with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadline
