As an Enabling Youth Worker you will be a pivotal part of a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team providing therapeutic support for young people with developmental delays, autism, brain injury or Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and behaviours of concern.
The role will work with colleagues, family / whanau, professionals and agencies such as Oranga Tamariki to stabilise this teenage female's life, provide therapeutic supports and enhance skills and functioning.

You'll use a non-judgemental attitude, a partnership-based approach and lots of positivity and understanding to support young people to stabilise and grow.
It's essential that you have : A full New Zealand driver's licence
It's desirable that you have :
A New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualification (if you're passionate about this role though and willing to work towards a qualification, we'll support you as much as we can)
Experience working with youths and informed about youth culture and issues
The ability to work flexible hours (as the service operates 7 days a week)
