Job Description

A sales leader who will develop our sales strategies, business and sales at selected key accounts. The person is expected to build a strong pipeline for growth to achieve the above, based on a large potential business volume.

This role will be based in Auckland & cover New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Leadership : Complete responsibility and ownership of strategy, sales and business development in delivering the financial objectives for New ZealandWork closely with the sales, technical, operations and other functions in Australia who provide support to local salesWork closely with the Sales Director to assist in business functions like sales forecasting, building strong business pipeline, data management in Sales Force (CRM) and other activities as requiredResponsible for generating sales, meeting agreed sales targets and business development to ensure sustainable growthEstablish a sales budget for assigned customers
  • Sales Leadership : Supporting and be a role model in utilization and implementation of sales processes, pipeline, account plans, business lead generation, etc.
  • Develop in-depth customer understanding identifying areas Danfoss can bring greatest value to grow our business shareDefining, developing and implementing country growth plansMeet sales targets and continuously grow market shares.

    Quote, negotiate and close sales deals / orders and projectsIdentify and build strong business relationship with key contractors & influencersLead strategic customer meetings including quarterly review meetings with partners & key customersContribution to marketing plan and business development opportunitiesDevelop and maintain an active opportunity pipeline for all accounts allocatedMaintaining and developing customer loyalty and satisfactionActive participation in marketing activities (i.

    e. exhibitions, surveys, etc.)Maintain customer relationships and follow up orders

  • Sales Operations : Manage price to the market as per business guidelinesAdhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codesPrepare and review commercial documents including preliminary proposal, full proposal and contract
  • Key Requirements

  • Good technical & business management skills (qualifications & work experience)
  • Sales related experience in air conditioning and refrigeration market segment in New Zealand
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Good network of contacts at the highest level
  • Strategic mindset with good analytical skills
  • Fluency in English with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
  • Strong personal resilience, drive & be highly motivated
  • Performance driven - not afraid to suggest / take initiatives and work independently
  • Ability to work with international teams in a global matrix organization
  • Cooperative and excellent interpersonal skills
