We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with experience in Electronic Systems Design to join our expanding Auckland team.

Position Summary

As Senior Project Engineer you will be expected to work closely with Engineering and Project Managers to ensure the successful, high quality delivery of assigned projects.

This includes preparing, planning, engineering, executing and controlling all engineering aspects of the project directly.

Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling schedules of work, directing resources within your team (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external).

You will ensure effective management of work load, compliance with Honeywell Project Engineering Methodology, improvement of processes and systems, project engineer / technician and sub-contractor management, verification of works, client liaison and escalation, health and safety compliance.

  • You must have

  • A tertiary qualified in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, IT or similar) and / or hold equivalent on the job’ experience.
  • Experience in electronic systems engineering and skilled in design, configuration and deployment of CCTV, Access Control and other Security Systems and have a good knowledge of IP Networking
  • A hands-on’ approach, with strong verbal, written and technical skills in electronic security and the capacity to deliver against multiple objectives and demonstrate strong customer relationship skills with total commitment to customer satisfaction.

    You will be able to identify technical solutions to customer’s business needs, and actively develop the relationship.
