What this opportunity involves :

JLL is currently seeking a Deskside Support Officer, in a role that will see you participating in IT projects and supporting staff in accessing and effectively utilising IT services and equipment, based in the Auckland CBD!

Please note this position is part time and requires you to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.

Working within a small technical team, you’ll assist in developing desktop and infrastructure services, incident and problem resolution activities while working with JLL service providers and vendors to ensure end to end delivery of services to clients!

As a key on-site support contact, you’ll be conducting user end training on new and existing services and respond to incidents relating to video conferencing, Microsoft desktop, desktop computing, h / w install and moves (IMACS), network equipment, cabling support, printers & MFDs, telecommunications and h / w maintenance.

This role is highly customer focused, and requires you to manage prioritize, resolve issues and ensure the smooth running within the office!

The successful candidate will be extremely customer focused, able to build strong relationships with a diverse client base, as well as be an effective team player! You’ll have information and communications technology related qualifications, and demonstrated in-depth understanding of all IT support processes! Your excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to use a wide range of technologies will allow you to achieve the best possible outcome every time!

Where new processes or procedures are developed, you’ll be expected to document these and contribute to the growing IT knowledge base.

Experience and support in a Microsoft Desktop environment is essential.
