We are looking for a talented individual to join our team to co-ordinate the provision of the Departments technical advice and expertise to support the Pacific Regional Invasive Species Management Support Service (PRISMSS) multi-agency operation based in Apia, Samoa.
He angitūtanga : About the Role
DOC has entered into an agreement with MFAT to support invasive species management for climate change adaptation in the Pacific under the New Zealand Aid Programme.
This work will be delivered through PRISMSS, a partnership between six agencies where members coordinate their work related to Invasive Species and Biosecurity in the Pacific to avoid duplication and maximise cooperation and effectiveness.
This is a three-year fixed term position to cover the lifetime of the programme. During this time, the successful applicant will be responsible for :
