The opportunity - Te tūranga

We're looking for a reporter for Newsroom in Wellington with strong editorial experience, enthusiasm for news and investigative journalism, plus a polished on-air ability to join our 1 News team.

In this role you will be assigned daily stories, but you will also be required to follow leads, generate your own fresh ideas and see them through. Truly amazing role.

You will be a motivated journalist with proven experience and commitment to researching and producing high calibre on-air and online content.

With an unwavering eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring a fresh perspective, energy, creativity and drive to the role and have the ability to build credibility with our audiences.
