  • You will have a strong focus on quality improvement, riskmanagement and patient safety, being outcomes focused you ll quickly make apositive impact in the team and across the Specialist Mental Health Services (SMHS)division.

    TheRole : Where you fit inLeading and co-ordinating the strategic developmentof quality improvement, risk management and patient safetyprogrammes within SMHS.

    Developing, contributing to and aligningsystem-wide direction and plans, establishing clear priority, and supportingparts of the system to understand the accountabilities they share and those forwhich they have clear and agreed responsibilities.

    Ensuring that SMHS Quality and Patient Safetysystems are focused on reducing harm, aligned with national programmes, meetslegislative requirements and best practice standards and is in line with theHealth Quality and Safety Commission s triple aim.

    Supporting the importance of multidisciplinarywork in SMHS through exemplary connected leadership with colleagues, promote and lead a whole of system approach to effectchange in the delivery of mental health services.
