The Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery? We have an excellent career opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Tax Advisory team at Findex, in Whakatū (Nelson).

In this role, you will work with a number of highly experienced advisors to deliver exceptional service to our varied client base and our accounting teams.

You will support team members to provide strategic tax advice to clients by offering practical solutions on a range of different tax matters.

You will establish and maintain positive client relationships and be a proactive and results driven team player.

Let’s talk about you!

You are a proactive, results driven team player who enjoys building client relationships who has the following experience :

Proven tax / accounting work experience (public practice experience is highly regarded)

Relevant qualifications (Chartered Accountant and degree qualified Accounting or Law)

Experience in private client and SME business tax and accounting compliance work including : research of tax law issues, drafting of client advices, meeting and liaising with clients and the IRD

Exposure to private clients within the SME sector (personal tax, private companies, trusts, GST, FBT)
