Ko Awatea is the Centre for Health Service Improvement and Innovation at Counties Manukau Health. We're a talented team working together to make a positive difference to the people we serve, the communities we work in, and to each other.
We are actively seeking an experienced manager who can support the Director of Ko Awatea to improve and implement effective business strategies and processes within Ko Awatea.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing a framework for performance management, oversight and allocation of business support resource, managing contracts and undertaking projects pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the division.
You will also lead and support the Ko Awatea Centre management office to maximise utilisation and commercial opportunities of the Ko Awatea Centre and improve the user experience.
You will play a key role on the Ko Awatea Leadership Team and contribute to wider discussions as we prepare for the health sector changes to come.
You will work with the Leadership Team and business partners to ensure that our budget is managed responsibly, and contractual and commercial arrangements are set in place.
You will also coordinate engagement (both within CM Health and in the broader region), plus drive communications and reporting for the Executive Leadership Team and Board subcommittees.
You will come to us with knowledge or qualification from a health or business sector, and 10 years management experience in a large, multifaceted environment, including staff, financial, performance, commercial, communications, and change management.
A proven ability to prioritise and manage many complex activities and achieve goals within agreed timeframes, and your expertise in leading people through change / growth and experience managing wide-ranging stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
