About the role
We are looking for a super star Regional Clinical Manager to work closely with several of our stakeholders across Villages in Auckland (East and South).
Reporting into the Clinical Director, you will take charge in coordinating and delivering high quality clinical and care improvement programmes for our residents.
You will be a clinical leader in the business and be responsible for :
Working with the Villages and stakeholders in your region to ensure a high standard of clinical delivery and quality leadership so that quality programmes are consistent
Clinical support to the clinical management team for Certification, Quality and Risk Management
Involvement in clinical project work for Metlifecare such as championing a culture of continuous improvement and ongoing development of innovative care and wellbeing solutions
Support and coach clinical management and teams in our Villages to optimise patient safety / outcomes and support quality improvement across the organisation.
This includes aspects of recruitment of key clinical staff
Provides a high standard of clinical and quality leadership for the organisation
You'll be able to carry out clinical and care programmes by way of consultation, audit, advice, facilitation, training and implementation.
There is a lot of influencing in this opportunity, here is what will support and strengthen your application :
Extensive clinical quality and risk management experience in the aged care sector or equivalent
Naturally a current NZ Registered Nurse annual practicing certificate (APC)
Understanding of certification and auditing tools and an ability to align them with organisational policies and procedures
Proven experience leading or influencing a high performing team who consistently deliver high quality output within a professional culture
A high standard of communication, both verbal and written, to liaise with internal and external customers
Ability to travel to across Auckland, so a driver's licence and a car but we will reimburse mileage of course!
When the need arises, the ability to support or step in at a time of need when its required
Desire to foster a culture of continual quality improvement
