With swimming being a regular activity for many Kiwis, our pool and leisure facilities are more popular than ever! We are now on the hunt for lifeguards, swimming instructors and pool deck supervisors to join our team to ensure everyone visiting Hamilton Pools is safe in the water and having a great time this summer!
At Hamilton Pools no two days will be the same, although our team LOVES the water, these roles are much more than that. We offer a fun and vibrant working environment, that breaks the mould of the typical 9 to 5' grind, this could be for you!
You will be given the opportunity to complete a range of transferable qualifications, such as your advanced first aid, New Zealand Certificate in Aquatics (Pool Lifeguard), AUSTSWIM teaching certificate, vulnerable children’s training, and for the right staff, further development in plant maintenance, emergency response and leadership.
You'll get to work with a great bunch of people who want to make a difference in the community.

We have a mixture of fixed term to cover summer (October April), part time and full time roles available.
The recruiting range for these positions starts at $22.75 per hour and can be negotiated for the right candidate.
