The Campaign Manager will work with providers and stakeholders across the Hutt Valley and Capital & Coast districts to implement the 2020 / 21 Measles Immunisation Campaign Plan.

The campaign will work with health providers to meet MMR immunisation goals, by engaging 15 29 year olds in primary healthcare.

Strong operational skills will be critical as this role will work closely with primary health organisations (PHOs), Youth One Stop Shops, Māori and Pacific providers, tertiary institutions, workplaces, and a range of community organisations to plan and coordinate mobile and pop-up immunisation clinics.

Strong consumer engagement skills will also be critical, in particular, a commitment to be lead by and responsive to rangatahi.


  • Lead the CCDHB and HVDHB Measles Campaign 2020 / 21, to achieve MMR immunisation coverage for 15 29 year olds.
  • Work with rangatahi, providers and community leaders to deliver responsive, accessible health care for young people, including coordinated immunisation services.
  • Manage contracts, performance and relationships with key providers.
  • Support youth-friendly communication activities.
  • Skills & Experience

  • Passion and skill to facilitate youth leadership and participation in decision-making
  • Collaborative relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of key stakeholders in health services, particularly youth health, Maori health and pacific health stakeholders and the challenges they face
  • Successful experience negotiating and influencing
  • Project management experience
