The Office of the Chief Clinical Officers (OCCO) in the Ministry of Health has a role in protecting and looking after our organisation so we have great people, processes and provide transdisciplinary clinical and professional leadership and advice.
This includes working at a systems level, as well as providing support to clinicians, programmes and projects across the Ministry.
OCCO is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to provide high quality, timely one-to-one executive support, including dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
This support will primarily be to the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer, but may also include the other Chief Clinical Officers and their teams.

In addition to your first class executive support skills and proven experience of supporting a senior leader, you will bring initiative, pragmatism and common sense to the role.
You must be able to recognise and balance the Ministry's business needs while maintaining a manageable schedule for the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer and ensuring their day and week runs smoothly.
To do this effectively, your people skills will be paramount. You'll be geniune, personable and approachable, able to build relationships and be eager to collaborate with the other EAs across the business to share your knowledge and skills.
You'll have a genuine desire to help both your Chief and everyone else, and a flexible mind-set around how you can do that.
