We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses who are able to work with individuals and whanau to support them to manage their asthma and / or respiratory conditions.
The successful applicant will have excellent assessment and care planning skills. You must have a good understanding of the social issues facing whanau, how these contribute to asthma and respiratory conditions and the ability to implement effective solutions to support individuals and whanau to achieve self-
management of their condition and maintain this.
Caseload management, experience in using an electronic client management system and excellent communication skills are essential.
You will also be committed to assisting individuals and their whanau to improve the management of their asthma and repiratory conditions.
Experience working in and around the community and working with Maori is preferred, so an understanding of culteral perspectives / practice's and Te Reo me on Tikanga would be advantageous.
