The opportunityWe have two fantastic opportunities for two Senior Managers to join our Line 2 Regulatory Change team.The focus of the first Senior Manager role will be supporting ASB's pan-

bank advice program as we navigate a new advice regime. This role will be focussed on obtaining the appropriate licenses to operate and developing ongoing compliance requirements for ASB's Financial Advice Provider License.

The second Senior Manager role will be responsible for supporting initiatives to strengthen ASB's resilience to crises, with a focus on outsourcing.

This role will be focussed on regulator and industry engagement as we navigate change, and ongoing governance of a pan-bank program of work.

These roles will play a central role in providing stakeholders with insightful guidance to ensure compliance and regulatory outcomes remain within appetite and a strong risk culture is maintained.

Success in these roles will be ability to work effectively within a changing environment, with a pragmatic and collaborative approach to enable the business to understand, proactively manage and optimise their compliance obligations.

  • We are interested in hearing form people who have the following experience : Prior experience within Financial Services, ideally in a Regulatory Risk or Compliance role;
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand banking laws and regulations;Highly developed stakeholder management skills with confidence and credibility to engage effectively with, and influence stakeholders across the business;
  • Excellent collaboration and communications skills with experience influencing and driving change;Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex technical information to non-

    subject matter experts;Ability to exercise sound judgment and demonstrate pragmatic problem solving skills;Proven leadership experience with a track record of leading from the front by displaying a positive attitude, high integrity and empathy towards your team and broader stakeholders.
