The Territory Manager is responsible for achievement of sales targets in their region (Canterbury region) through excellence in execution at the point of sale.

They must develop and support the partnership between CP and the customer(s) at the store and regional level by nurturing contacts and negotiation.

They provide feedback on the in-store environment which allows rapid revision of Commercial strategies

What you will do

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate goals of the company
  • Advises dealers, customers, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with managing relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Works to increase market share by utilizing face to face sales techniques.
  • Works with dealers in order to help them improve their business.
  • Analyzes ways to acquire new customers through following inside and outside leads.
  • Focuses on new product promotions by getting the information to customer accounts.
  • Follows up on calls and dealer visits in order to keep customers informed and satisfied.
  • Analyzes sales and market potential.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills and customer focus
  • High level of self-motivation and passion to increase sales
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and a willingness to adopt change
  • Digitally savvy - Google Suite or similar and applying digital tools to analyse sales data
  • What you’ll need

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or a similar field
  • Sales experience - FMCG or pharmaceutical company is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
