    The Doctors Hastings provides a wide range of primary healthcare services onsite at 110 Russell St South, Hastings.

    The purpose of this role is to Provide overall administrative direction and co-ordination of medical centre policies, procedures and management to achieve an efficient practice.

    You responsibilities include :

  • Demonstrating leadership, guidance and support for centre staff members.
  • Managing all administration and clerical resources
  • Ensuring service is provided to patients in accordance with professional and company standards.
  • Fostering a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
  • Manage recruitment and orientation of new clerical / reception staff and assisting with the induction of new GP's.
  • Maximize the education and development of staff and self.
  • You will bring to the role :

  • Prior experience in Practice Management or administration work in a GP practice.
  • Be honest, reliable and self motivated.
  • Be able to work independently and in a team.
  • Have strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Have financial management or accounting skills.
  • Working knowledge of MedTech32 Patient Management system.
  • Be computer literate with MS Word and Excel.
  • This is a Permanent Full time Position working 40 hours across 5 days between Monday to Friday.
