AIG’s underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including life insurance, aviation, financial lines, casualty, environmental, catastrophic events, high net worth individuals, and boardroom liabilities.
Actively engage in the sales process, driving GWP growth on assigned target accounts and Identification, qualification, development and marketing of homogenous high volume mono or multi line product and service opportunities.

Broker relationships from director to broker level with indigenous and international broking firms.Excellent working relationships with internal AIG sources of business.
Underwriting for all lines including new and renewal business within authorities granted and in accordance with profit centre guidelines.
Analysis of own portfolio;identification of problematic accounts.identification of problematic industries and classes.identification of underperforming distribution channels.
implementation of all remedial action that may be requiredMonitoring and auditing underwriting standards;confirmation of compliance with profit centre & H.
O. guidelines.ensure that own portfolio is balanced in terms of industries and limits allocated.Product and policy development in conjunction with the PCM.
