Mount Eden, AucklandCittà is a creative, design-led company that’s a New Zealand leader in homewares. We are on the hunt for an experienced purchasing assistant to join our small and friendly team.
The key responsibilities for this role are : Placement of purchase orders with foreign and local suppliersMonitoring and tracking shipment movements of purchase orders against delivery timesFacilitating shipment clearance and providing accurate documentationOrdering samples from suppliers for gift fair and photography purposesArranging product testing and obtaining certificates and declarationsQuality checking product as it arrivesItem creation and price imports into Microsoft Dynamics AX Accounting SoftwareTo hit the ground running, you will need to have previous experience in purchasing and exposure to purchase order management with foreign and local suppliers and facilitation of shipment clearance.
Expert, clear communication skills are a must, as you will be liaising with our suppliers from around the world and contributing to internal discussions.
You will be competent in time management and prioritization, have excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
