RATE AND HOURS 40 00 per hour 5 to 10 flexible hours per week between 8 30am and 5 00pm This position will be on a contracted basis REPORTS TO Directors and Company Accountant LOCATION Work from home THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL IDEALLY have at least 3 years NZ bookkeeping or accounting experience have solid expertise in the technology we work with Xero Certifications will be highly regarded Office 365 Outlook Excel Advanced Word Payroll software Cloud communications and storage software e g Slack Google Drive etc be organised and thorough have a high attention to detail and accuracy be available 23 days per week treat all aspects of the business as proprietary and confidential have excellent referees that will sing your praises have a recent and clean police report DUTIES INCLUDE Enter and Review Xero transactions to make sure theyre accurate and compliant Ensure all expenses have an accompanied document saved to Xero or the file server Manage accounts payables in Xero Manage accounts receivables and debt management Check all received purchase orders are loaded in Xero and invoiced Bank and credit card reconciliations Payroll processing Preparing GST returns via Xero and liaise with the Company accountant for approval prior to filing Contact and work with Company clients suppliers internal staff and the Company Accountant as required Other role related tasks as instructed by the MD or the Company Accountant
