What does an outstanding Mobile Architect do?The Digital Channels business unit within Fiserv is responsible for the delivery of mobile banking solutions to our customers and looks after all the technology that underpins our digital channels.
This includes Mobile Applications (iOS and Android).To be successful in this role you will have an outstanding set of skills that will be a combination of technical proficiency across mobile software application and soft skills, which will drive the success across the team.

This person will act as a key partner to the product lifecycle, from governance to delivery, and will define the overall solution architecture and identify technical risks, and the mitigation of those risks.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary contributor to the design of the product suite and relevant applications.Lead and guide your team across the mobile software development process.
Work closely with Support teams, both within Fiserv and external customers, as they are responsible for and support the product.
Drive the delivery of product architectural design as it relates to product concerns, contributing to multi-year roadmaps and release cycles.
Produce user documentation and have the ability to relay back the business in nonprofessional terms from a high-level view.
Provide technical leadership on both a project and product team level.Engage and influence partners to ensure that technical and architectural road map is tracking in the right direction against milestones.
Be the SME and hold full technical knowledge and a detailed understanding of product across the business unit.Job Requirements10+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years of commercial mobile application experience.Architecture experience working with multiple technologies including iOS, Android, hybrid app technologies, and a working understanding of the services and APIs they consume.
A confident understanding of coding techniques, which contribute to the reliability, maintainability, readability, simplicity, performance, and testability of software.
A sophisticated understanding of IT environments including cloud, networking, server technologies, databases, security and performance.
Solid understanding of the day-to-day practicalities of Software Development Lifecycles such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
