The City Cleaning Team is responsible for ensuring the streets of Napier, roads, gutters and public places used by vehicles and pedestrians are maintained to a high standard.
We are seeking a self-starter with a positive attitude who likes to be outdoors and can work unsupervised to join the busy street cleaning team.
Key tasks for the City Street Cleaner include :
To be successful in this role, you need to have a reasonable level of fitness and be healthy with an ability to deal with the refuse of all kinds.
You will also need to be Health and Safety conscious to ensure you keep yourself and the community safe. You also need to hold a clean, full drivers licence.
Please note, this role works 5 days a week, including weekends and public holidays with Tuesday and Wednesday as rostered days off.
