    The Team : What we do

    OxfordCommunity Hospital is a 13 bed hospital offering continuing care of theelderly, medical, palliative care andrespite care for the local community.

    Weare after proactive, confident and energetic Healthcare Assistants to join ourteam : one on a fixed term. This is an excellentopportunity to gain experience in a rural setting.

    You will contribute to thefriendly, cohesive team by providing expert care to the patients.

    TheRole : Whereyou fit in

    In this role, you will be responsiblefor :

  • Assisting nursing staff with patient care - their personal cares and activities
  • Ensuring the ward environment is tidy, safe and hazard free
  • Your skills will include : Punctuality, reliability and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Versatile, good time management, good communication skills, caring, able to think outside the square, and an interest in activities and cooking would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant is highly desired
  • There is one 0.7 FTE fixed termposition available, ending approx. 25 / 02 / 2022. This is 56 hours per fortnight,with the majority of these shifts being mornings.

    The roster is an 8 weekrotating roster so the days will change and some weekend work will be required.
