We are currently seeking applications from motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in becoming a Registered Line Mechanic.

As a Trainee Line Mechanic you will be part of our busy Taupo team. You be working alongside fully qualified and experienced Line Mechanics gaining valuable on the job skills but also be required to undertake external training working towards your National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Distribution) Level 4.

A Line Mechanic carries out construction, maintenance and fault work on the electrical distribution network, involving both overhead and underground systems.

Applications are sought from people who are physically fit, like working outdoors, able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to work, able to work at heights, and who are prepared to undertake extra mural study.
