Do you have a passion for numbers? Is accounts preferably accounts receivable where you want to be? Our client is looking for an experienced accounts receivable clerk to join their busy team in Wellington CBD.
This is a varied fast-paced role and some of the main duties will include :
Process accounts and incoming payments
Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits
Ensure customers pay on time and chase any overdue invoices
Monitoring debtor balances
Assisting with customer queries
The successful candidate will have :
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Plan and manage workload in order to meet deadlines as required
Confidence in using a computer and in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Accounting systems knowledge, would be an advantage (Xero / MYOB / SAP)
