A quasi-legal position that will see you apply your legal expertise in a varied and fulfilling role.

This organisation is an important part of the community, responsible for protecting and overseeing people’s rights. They are looking for someone who is passionate about advocating for individuals particularly in relation to the healthcare system.

The position will see you manage a range of complaint submissions as part of a wider Complaints Assessment Team. As a senior member of the team you will also be responsible for the management and development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review caseload of complaint files
  • Draft correspondence conveying decisions to relevant parties
  • Review and critique files completed by junior team members
  • Provide guidance and leadership around team performance targets and work loads
  • Key Requirements :

  • 2-3 years in a legal practicing role would be ideal
  • Strong written communication skills essential
  • Mentoring and coaching experience in a leadership role
  • Passion and interest in the healthcare sector
  • This role would be ideal for a solicitor who is looking to utilise their skillset outside of a traditional legal role. There are good opportunities within the organisation for further career growth and development.
