Our school holiday program is all about fun activities in a safe and positive environment. In a collaborative effort, we ensure that all children are catered for and active participation is achieved.

As a Programme Leader in our after school programme, you will lead a team, dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe, secure and healthy space, where children with an intellectual disability can spend time after school.

Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will facilitate meaningful activities and support children to engage in a variety of tasks.

Involved in this role is administration, resource management and the coaching and leading of your team.

Are you :

  • A team player with leadership qualities?
  • Great at communicating?
  • Adept to facilitating a structured curriculum with personal outcomes focus
  • If so, the Minimum requirements for this role are :

  • Clearance from NZ Police and CYF's
  • A certificate or diploma in Human Services (or similar) is preferred
  • The maintenance of a full, class 1 drivers licence
  • A positive and outgoing attitude
  • Significant previous experience in supporting children with disabilities
