Our client is in search of a superstar dedicated to maintaining a high level of service and accuracy in decision making regarding customer credit worthiness within the Credit Assessment Officer role they have available.

Hours for the role are Monday - Friday rostered shifts between 9am - 8pm (40hrs per week) and occasional Saturday's (every 3rd or 4th Saturday which is 5.
5 over time)Requirements : Assessing potential new customers credit ratings and approving Purchase Limits in alignment withcredit scoring systems, internal policies and external regulationsEnsuring all new account and existing account applications have the correct documentationprovided, and that this is correctly stored for future reference.
Completing accurate documentation relating to new customer sign upProviding advice to other functions around credit risk of specific customersConsult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactionsContribute to Process Improvement to enhance customer experience and reduce credit risk.
Ensure credit lending rules are applied consistentlyTo provide an active and positive influence with our internal and external customers andstakeholderTo be successful in this role : Lending or collection experienceCall Centre experienceCompetent use of CRM and Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of regulations CCCFA and AMLFinancial / budgeting literacyThis position exists to determine the credit worthiness of customers and provide the HDL Retail Teamwith appropriate and clear credit decisions for potential new customer sign ups and all other creditrelated assessment duties relating to the HDL customer database.
Highly effective communicationwith customers, the retail team and credit teams is crucial as is the adherence to all internal policiesand external regulation related to lending and associated documentation.
