We want our work to bring long-term improvements and to future proof our cities and environments.The Role : Needed is a Senior or Principal Stormwater Engineer for our busy Auckland office sitting within the Water Resources and Flood Risk Management (WRFRM) work group.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to maintain and develop WSP’s capability in Stormwater Engineering, delivering a range of WRFRM projects with a focus on supporting major transportation projects.

We are looking for a candidate to liaise and develop relationships with clients and play a key role in the development of the WRFRM business, and support WRFRM team through technical reviews, training / mentoring and provide thought leadership.

The successful applicant will also be required to support the Work Group Manager to develop and grow the WRFRM business, and support the development and implantation of the WRFRM strategy.

Skills and Experience : Bachelor of Engineering or equivalentMIPENZ, CPEng or equivalentMinimum of 10 years professional experience with significant focus on stormwater infrastructure design including well developed experience in managing hydraulic models and modelling projectsFamiliarity of hydraulic modelling packages such as MIKE 11, MIKE 21, MOUSE, InfoWorks, and HEC RAS and their use in investigations & designHow to Apply : If this sounds like you, we want you to be part of what makes us great.
