Our clients are at the heart of our business. Within our clients and markets team, we provide leadership, advice and support to all levels of our organisation on best practice business development strategies and client engagement.
Bringing insight and connecting with our largest, busiest region, this new role will closely support the Northern Regional Manager in positioning Beca strongly with strategic partners, to augment Beca’s contribution to major projects in the region.
The focus will be regional and cross-functional, spanning business lines to explore and maximise opportunities arising through the broader outcomes’ approach of Beca’s stakeholders.
As a key member of our Clients and Markets team you’ll play a role in drawing on broader knowledge, internally and externally, to improve our client understanding, proactively manage our pipeline and pursue key opportunities in the complex, dynamic Auckland market.
You’ll drive best practice in client relationship planning and the delivery of pursuits and bids, which includes preparing and reviewing written technical information and engaging proactively to coordinate the contribution of individuals and teams.
An experienced business development professional, you’ll be passionate about the future of Tāmaki Makaurau and excited by the added strategic value potential of Beca’s projects, by actively highlighting pathways to broader outcomes for the region.
Your eye will be firmly on the biggest issues impacting our region. Your insight and connection with Auckland-focused public and private sector organisations will help you champion the client perspective and bring their voice to business development initiatives.
Promoting best practice, you’ll be a confident presenter, facilitator and coach, rapidly becoming recognised by our team as a credible source of guidance and support, elevating confidence and continuous improvement in managing pursuits and bids.
You’ll bring strength in preparing, writing and reviewing technical information and in bringing people together towards shared goals.
Your proactive attitude and strong commercial acumen will position you as an invaluable support to the Regional Manager and key advisor to leaders and teams across the business.
