Our Wellington Water Team is looking for a skilled CAD designer to boost the business by providing technical assistance in the field of 3D design and drawing preparation.
You will be responsible for :
Undertaking a range of multi discipline design detailing duties using 12D and AutoCAD or equivalent software to provide a technical service to internal and external clients.
Liaise with Project Managers / Project Technical Leads to inform of the timing, costs and any other pertinent issues.
Play an active role in promotion and collection of IP Recycling (CAD details and signature designs). Including involvement in management process for library / database for easy IP retrieval for efficient project delivery.
Ensure that the client is satisfied with the service we give in the field of CAD design.
To be successful in this role your will have :
You’ll have a relevant Technical Qualification
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment with emphasis on civil transport design drafting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
Fully competent in a design drafting role with ability to maintain professional standards in the emerging field of relevant software.
