We’re looking for a seasoned, professional, dedicated, and pragmatic developer. You'll have input at all levels of a project and be able to communicate your ideas clearly as you’ll be working day-

to-day in a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a senior role. We expect you to take on some leadership responsibilities as well as contribute to company and client strategy.

We're looking for a great communicator who writes and speaks with empathy when working with clients and colleagues. You'll have initiative, be to work independently, and have the support of your peers.

But, what really counts is your ability to learn (and teach), communicate and operate at a high level in an agency environment.

Key Tasks :

  • Work closely with the design and development teams, and the Account Managers, to produce well-engineered code and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Help lead a team of developers and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Architect and deliver well-engineered, reliable and high performance solutions for our clients.
  • Help to convert sales opportunities by delivering great responses and contributing to work proposals.
  • Deliver excellent technical solutions for our clients.
  • Required Skills

  • Significant scripting language / programming experience we’re not as concerned with what you have experience in, as long as you can demonstrate proficiency.
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and ability to apply them.
  • Excellent understanding of RDBMS and strong SQL skills (we use Postgresql, MySql).
  • Excellent understanding of VCS’s (git, svn).
  • Excellent understanding of common internet protocols, standards, architectures, and formats.
  • Great understanding of Unit testing.
  • Strong, well-articulated ideas about system architecture.
  • Plenty of MV* web framework experience, ideally Django but others like Laravel or RoR are great.
  • You are dedicated to the principle of quality before quantity.
  • Great skills working in Linix environments / great *sh and sysadmin skills
  • Be able to speak to people well and write clearly.
  • Ability to clearly and simply explain and express technical concepts.
  • Great understanding of open standards based formats like JSON.
  • A solid understanding and application of web programming security principles and concepts.
  • Significant sympathy for user focussed solutions.
