The opportunityOur Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team play a leading role in keeping ASB, our customers and communities safe and protected from financial crime and mitigate the risks of money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions, bribery & corruption and tax evasion.
As a Senior Manager, you will provide leadership across ASB and manage the implementation of policies and regulatory requirements relating to all areas of FCC.
Acting as a key conduit between Line 2 compliance and the business, you will be a trusted advisor, ensuring our policy and regulatory requirements are embedded and our control environments are robust.
You will need to stay at the forefront of key FCC regulatory changes to ensure proactive communication with the business and that those changes are reflected in bank policies and assessments.
Furthermore, you will support reporting requirements, oversee compliance training content and provide technical support across compliance and regulatory change.
Success in this role will be ability to work collaboratively across the organisation, with a pragmatic and strategic approach to enable the business to understand, proactively manage and optimise their financial crime compliance obligations.
Skills and Experience we are looking for : In depth knowledge of financial crime risks and financial services legislation and regulationSignificant experience in a Compliance, Risk Management or Audit role, with ideally some exposure to Retail, Commercial or Wealth management businessesProven ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisationExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex technical information to non-subject matter expertsProven leadership experience with a track record of leading from the front by displaying a positive attitude, high integrity and empathy towards your team and broader stakeholdersAbout ASBRisk at forefront of change occurring across the Financial Services landscape.
