0.8-0.9 FTE : Temporary position or secondment We are seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join the MidCentral Health Specialist Diabetes and Endocrinology Service Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a temporary position for up to one year from 9 November 2020 to cover parental leave until November 2021.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes will function within the specialty of diabetes providing clinical expertise and nursing leadership in acute and specialist services across primary and secondary care practice settings.
This provides expert diabetes care to people with diabetes across the lifespan. The Service covers the MDHB region so travel may be a component of the role.
You will be a registered nurse who :
Experience in diabetes care is preferred and knowledge of the local community and health care providers will be an advantage.

Palmerston North Hospital is a 350 bed secondary hospital, which services an urban population of 80,000 and a total population catchment of 168,000.
