DESCRIPTION

As an Engagement Manager, you will collaborate with AWS consultants, partner, and client teams to create and execute a plan to achieve engagement goals that deliver customer outcomes.

You will build knowledge of the customer environment to expedite stakeholder alignment and team cohesion. You will assist in training teams in agile best practices to accelerate innovation and be a strategic business partner.

Our professional services engagements focus on the full platform of AWS solutions to help our customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their cloud journey be it infrastructure, migration or application development.

Leveraging AWS mechanisms, you will help customers envision transformational cloud initiatives. You will collaborate across the organisation to deliver the right solutions and drive innovations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

You will deliver business outcomes by managing a matrixed team across multi-stream, agile, technical engagements for customers.

Plan, organise and manage all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. This includes validating requirements, developing and managing project governance plans, project schedules, team goals, defining success criteria and project milestones, and budgets.

  • Advising - Work as a strategic business partner to help customers achieve their business outcomes and help to drive innovation throughout the engagement life cycle
  • Training coaching customers, partners and internal teams on our agile delivery framework and continue to develop and iterate on the current methodology
  • Partnering Conduct partner enablement briefings and trainings to further scale adoption of the delivery framework
  • Expertise - Collaborate with field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services
  • Feedback - Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback and lessons learned
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive hands on experience delivering enterprise-level IT consulting projects using Agile methodologies
  • Coached / trained teams on agile best practices, frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver engagements
  • Experience with Agile and Project Management (APN) toolsets (e.g. Jira, RallyDev)
  • Presented to C-level executives as well as to technical subject matter experts
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project management certifications (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 SAFe (Scaled Agile), etc.).
  • AWS Experience and Certifications..
  • FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) for Salesforce
