QC Analyst will be responsible in ensuing that materials and products are tested in accordance with the communicated schedule, with any issues being escalated quickly to the wider business

The Role :

Test, measure and analyse finished products, stability samples and raw materials.

Document all analytical data in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity principles

Ensure general laboratory housekeeping and equipment housekeeping is completed

Complete all in-process physical testing on products to allow release to the next stage of the manufacturing process

Ensure all testing adheres to the requirements of local methods, pharmacopoeial requirements and SOPs

Prioritise testing based on business requirements

Ensure all laboratory investigations are progressed in a timely manner and the requirements of the governing SOP are met

Communicate any issues involving testing to the QC Team Leader promptly

Liaise with external testing laboratories to ensure all material, product and water testing is completed

Sample and test water in accordance with local SOPs and regulatory requirements

File and maintain testing and equipment records

Prepare and / or review analytical methods, material and product specifications and laboratory SOPs

To carry out all reasonable instructions and to undertake any work reasonably required by the company in accordance with the principles of GMP

What you will have :

  • Degree in Chemistry
  • Lean 6 Sigma / 6S experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Control
  • Knowledge on method transfer and / or method validation
  • Solid understanding in HPLC operations and troubleshooting
  • Experience in writing laboratory investigation reports
  • Experience in writing SOPs
