About the role
As Programme Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of the OFBCP and foster collaborative, high-value networks across the biosecurity system to ensure successful programme delivery and meaningful change in biosecurity behaviour.
While you will be reporting to the Group Manager, Partnerships and Engagement, Readiness and Response Services, it is expected you will take full responsibility for end-to-end programme management, working alongside the M.
bovis Directorate partners and the Governance Board, adapting to the changing needs of the programme as it evolves. You will establish a clear path for delivery, building the programme identity with key stakeholders and defining the parameters for success for your team of three.
As the face for the programme, you will build effective relationships with key partners in biosecurity in the public and private sectors to gain support and interest in the programme and grow valuable partnerships that will assist delivery.
Key to your role will be looking for opportunities to align with other existing initiatives and leverage their progress, while maintaining the firm direction of this programme.
Ultimately though, your focus will be on delivery. With a fixed window to achieve the programme goals, you will focus on implementing your plan, ensuring success measures are in place and are met.
You will be supported by a Steering Group, the Group Manager Partnerships and Engagement, and an external Behaviour Change Consultant.
Mōu - About You
To be successful you will bring a strong technical skillset in programme and project management, proven in the hands-on delivery of sizeable engagement and partnership programmes with clear objectives.
You will know what it takes to manage projects with scale with wide variety of stakeholders involved, having navigated public and private sector partnerships before, and therefore bring strong EQ and political nous enabling you to manage those competing expectations and take action.
Critically you will bring strong relationship management and networking skills and a credible, partnership-based approach.
You will know how to convey a message across various platforms to different stakeholders both internally and externally, with a proven background managing high level programme governance.
While primary sector experience is not vital, you will understand how to adapt your style for different audiences and bring a familiarity in your approach that remains open, constructive, and collaborative.
