Systems (Business) Analysts are responsible for translating customer and business requirements into a software design that fits within the Vista framework.
It involves scoping, requirements gathering, gap analysis and functional design.
A collaborative and consultative approach is required to ensure that the proposed design has the buy-in of stakeholders at all levels across the business.
An understanding of both the end user perspective and the technical perspective is critical.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to analyse business-related functions and draft functional requirements and design specifications for supporting those functions.
Demonstrate creative thinking and a willingness to support new or improved approaches to solving business problems.
Understanding of application programming, database and system design.
Knowledge of BA and software design processes, tools and techniques.
Basic SQL knowledge (database tables and relationships).
Willingness to act on own initiative as well as being an effective team member.
Ability to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with people at all levels across the company.
3 or more years’ relevant experience in the software industry is preferred.
Degree qualified in IT (preferred).
Professional Business Analyst qualifications preferred but not essential.
